Wonderful tour! Brian was a fantastic guide. The 8 hours goes quick!! Perfect way to see and learn about the mountains in one day. I loved Seeing the Stanley Hotel, and the sandwich provided for lunch by Sprague lake was great!! Comfortable van, and waters and bathroom stops were readily available. Highly Recommend!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour to Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel. Brian, our tour guide did a wonderful job! The views were amazing! We didn’t see much in the way of wildlife, unfortunately, to no fault of Brian. Just bad timing. Would definitely go back to Explorer Tours when we are back in the Denver area.

We lucked out with weather! Just enough time at every stop. The town of Lyons quaint, Estes Park gorgeous and the Stanley Hotel stop fun (especially if you have seen The Shining). We saw a few large elk bulls and mule deer. The van was comfortable, lunch great and Brian was the best tour guide! It was a long day …so drive back felt long but the scenery made it all worth it!

We did 3 amazing tours with Explorer Denver Tours. Pikes Peak & Garden of the Gods Tour with Dave, Rocky Mountain National Park with Ernie and Denver Foothills with Marc. Me and my wife loved and enjoyed all the tours. The guides were all knowledgeable, informative, and accommodating. They are all passionate on what they do. I even promised Ernie with 6 stars.
